Yoga in Medicine:
The Well Physician Project
The Well Physician Project is the signature initiative under Yoga in Medicine, designed specifically for physicians and healthcare teams.
Why Yoga in Medicine Matters
Medicine is a calling that demands intellect, compassion, and endurance — yet these same qualities can lead to depletion. Long hours, emotional strain, and constant responsibility often erode our capacity for presence and joy.
Many physicians operate in chronic stress: alert but exhausted, caring deeply for others while disconnected from their own breath and body.
Yoga in Medicine recognizes this hidden cost of caring and offers a way back — through self-awareness, mindful movement, and breath regulation. These practices retrain the nervous system to find safety and resilience within the work itself, allowing us to care with greater clarity, steadiness, and compassion.
Program Highlights
Yoga in Medicine has been shared at national physician wellness conferences, medical education events, and healthcare institutions across Canada.
Delivered at:
• Canadian Women in Medicine Conference
• College of Family Physicians of Canada Wellness Retreat
• University of Toronto, Department of Surgery
